Mr. Steve Van Note, Director of Product Development for the International Code Council will detail the significant differences between the 2009 and 2015 residential building codes in the three-hour morning session. Mr. Van Note is the co-author of 2015 IRC Significant Changes.
Mr. Tim Mrozowski, AIA, of Michigan State University will discuss how the new Michigan Residential Energy Code impacts residential design, documentation, construction and expected savings in energy usage in the three-hour afternoon session. Mr. Mrozowski is the director of the Michigan Energy Code Training and Implementation Project.
The program includes lunch as well as morning coffee, pastry, and afternoon snack. Pre-registration is required for non-member guests.
